The organisers

Deborah Marber is a PhD student at the University of St Andrews where she works on the role that imagination plays in shaping belief. Her project lies at the intersection of epistemology, philosophy of mind and language and philosophical methodology. She is particularly interested in the role that imagination plays in our understanding of reality.

 

Mirela Fus is a PhD student at the University of St Andrews and the University of Oslo. Her project lies at the intersection of philosophical methodology and philosophy of language, as well as related areas in social ontology and feminist theory. More specifically, it contributes to the recent developments in conceptual engineering and social group generics.

 

Jakob Hinze is a PhD student at the University of St Andrews. His main research interests are in political philosophy, and more precisely in epistemic democratic theory and the ethics of voting.
